The breakfast served was a highlight, featuring locally sourced ingredients and cooked perfectly—such a great way to start the day. The room was clean and cozy, filled with interesting decor that made it feel warm and inviting. Kath and Nigel were fantastic hosts, always ready to help with a friendly conversation. the parking situation was a bit tricky, as it isn't guaranteed outside, but I did find alternatives nearby. I found it odd that room cleaning wasn't standard on the second night—clearer communication at check-in would be beneficial.

The cozy vibe and unique decor really stood out, making it feel like more than just a stay—like a home base, with comfy bedding and a spotlessly clean en-suite. Breakfast was solid, with locally sourced goodies that kept me going well into the afternoon.
Parking can be a hassle as spaces are often filled, and while there are car parks nearby, they come with added costs that might annoy some guests. a bit odd that the rooms aren’t automatically cleaned on the second night—you’ve got to leave a sign, which isn’t clearly communicated at check-in. A hairdryer was missing and the TV needed tuning upon arrival, but those got sorted out quickly. Still, it would’ve made for a smoother experience if all that stuff was squared away from the start.

Comfortable atmosphere in the lounge area.
The room we stayed in was very small and did not meet our expectations. The cleanliness was lacking, and the bed was extremely uncomfortable, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. the bathroom had lingering odors, which made our stay even less enjoyable.

Spotless and Cozy!
Our stay was awesome! The room was super clean and had a nice vibe. Loved all the extra touches like fluffy towels and snacks. Chatted a lot with the owners, they were so friendly and made us feel at home. Just wish the bathroom was a bit bigger, but it worked out fine. Breakfast was top-notch!

great stay but room for improvement
The decor throughout the guest house was unique and thoughtfully curated, creating an inviting atmosphere. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, ensuring that we felt at home during our short stay. I particularly enjoyed the landmark view from the small entry sitout, perfect for sipping tea on a sunny morning.
The mattress in our room could use an upgrade for better comfort.

The charming ambiance felt like home, with beautifully curated decor from various places. Breakfast featured delicious homemade sausages, although a slight improvement in the variety of fruits offered could enhance it. Parking posed a challenge during busy times, but we consistently found a spot nearby. It was disappointing that room cleaning wasn't automatic on the second night, as this detail should be clearly communicated at check-in.
